Set up the MT5 copier
Ten minutes, once. Your computer or VPS stays on for trades to copy.

Get your key
Open your account page. The copier panel shows a key and a download button.

Put the robot in MT5
In MT5 open File, then Open Data Folder. Copy the file into MQL5, then Experts. Close and reopen MT5.

Allow the address
Tools, then Options, then Expert Advisors. Tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL and add the site address below.

Compile if needed
If you received the .mq5 file, open it in MetaEditor and press Compile once. A .ex5 file appears next to it.

Attach it to a chart
Open an XAUUSD chart. Drag the robot from the Navigator onto it. Paste your key, set your risk, press OK.

Turn AutoTrading on
Press the AutoTrading button in the toolbar. The panel on the chart turns gold and reads connected.
How to know it worked
The account page shows a green light next to your MT5 number within a minute. Trades appear under recent activity.
Keep it running
A closed laptop copies nothing. Leave the computer on, or use a VPS. HFM gives a free VPS at some deposit levels.
